To uncover the answers, Cengage, in collaboration with Shift Insight, surveyed 488 STEM educators across 21 countries in the EMEA region and conducted in-depth interviews with 15 instructors. The results highlight a dynamic landscape where educators are embracing accessible and inclusive teaching methods while tackling challenges such as technological disparities and shifting student expectations.

The report, STEM In Higher Education: Exploring Innovative Techniques For Student Success, reveals that many educators are integrating cutting-edge technologies into their classrooms, boosting engagement and fostering critical thinking. But it’s not just about tech, soft skills like communication and independent learning are gaining prominence as essential tools for workplace readiness.

Despite these advancements, challenges persist. How can educators balance the promise of AI with its current limitations? What can be done to ensure consistent adoption of innovative practices across institutions?
